Scheduling mode changed mid-monitoring

  • Retained logic → Progress override at 8 Apr 2026 — figures from this snapshot on may understate slippage.

Progress Override discards predecessor logic for in-progress activities; the critical path, float, and forecast can differ materially from the same file scheduled under Retained Logic.

How does the programme's finish compare with the progress trend?
The programme's own finish moved from 8 Jun 2028 at baseline to 22 Jun 2028 at Update 4. Earned Schedule, our measure of progress against the baseline, is much later: it moved from 20 Aug 2028 (Update 1) to 12 Apr 2029 (Update 4), about 9 months 20 days after the programme's date. Two signals sit underneath the gap: BEI fell from 0.97 to 0.88 (work is completing slower than planned), and at Update 3 the programme switched to Progress Override, after which concealed slip climbed to 35 working days as activity durations were shaved.

What this dashboard tells you

  • The programme's finish moved two weeks, but progress against the baseline points to April 2029. The programme still shows 22 Jun 2028, while the Earned Schedule finish moved from 20 Aug 2028 to 12 Apr 2029 across four monthly updates. A gap that size is the question to put to the contractor at the next progress meeting.
  • The programme switched to Progress Override at Update 3. That P6 setting discards predecessor logic for in-progress activities, so the critical path, float, and forecast can understate real slippage from that point on.
  • Concealed slip climbed to 35 working days. Restoring each activity's duration to the baseline value and recomputing shows the forecast is later than the dates alone admit — slip hidden by shaved durations.
  • BEI fell from 0.97 to 0.88 while DCMA quality held at 9 / 14. The structural quality is steady; the problem is delivery pace and how the slippage is being presented, not schedule hygiene.
